I Told God I Trusted Him And Then My Life Got Worse The Same Day!

This past week I prayed to the Lord to guide my steps and do his will with my situation concerning school. After my morning devotion I went to work getting everything settled so that I could take my fall semester of courses, but after all of my calls, emails, and research I realized that I wouldn't be able to take classes this semester at all. After a year out of school I try to go back and find out that I have to wait yet another semester!? This was not what I thought I had prayed for. Is it really the Lord's will that I not attend school after finishing three years of college? I have banks calling me about my school loans! I took classes this summer at a school near my home with the approval of my school, and the understanding was that they could be transferred to my school, but the financial department didn't know that I was taking classes from home. I got zero financial aid, and now I can't continue my classes until I pay for my summer courses. I have to fill out extra forms, and get both schools to sign a contract so that when I do pay off my summer classes I will be able to continue taking courses and hopefully this time receive some financial aid. Who knew that finishing my senior year of schooling would be so difficult?
I prayed and it seems like my situation got worse, but you know what I am not the only one. Daniel got placed in the lion's den for praying to God, three Hebrew boys got placed in a fiery furnace for not praying to an idol in honor of God, Moses had to leave his life of lavish and oppose his "brother" for a tribe of people who resented him by the order of God, Job lost everything he had by the testing of Satan with the permission of God, Abraham was told by God to sacrifice Issac, and the list goes on and on. These people trusted God, and they suffered for it. However, God didn't just have suffering in store for them. Daniel was not eaten but his enemies were, the Hebrew boys walked out of the furnace unharmed, Moses led his people to the promised land, Job got all that he lost back and more, and Abraham was given a ram to sacrifice instead of his son and is know as the father of many nations. The Bible says that God has plans to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us a hope and a future. All of these people in the Bible trusted God to keep his word, went through much worse than I am having to, and came out of the other end blessed and lifted up for all to see the greatness of God. It reminds me that even though things may get worse in my life God still has the upper hand and will make it all work out for my good and for his glory. I am blessed, and I will continue to trust God.
