I have a dream
I used to dream all the time that I was witnessing to people. People would ask me questions and I would begin to speak about the goodness of the Lord, and how Jesus was the solution to all of their problems or desires. I feel anointed to be having those dreams again. Maybe someone needs these words. I talk about my journey of faith, but maybe you haven't begun that journey yet so let me tell you about Jesus.
Jesus is the Christ, the savior of the world, the messiah, the only begotten son of God. Jesus is God in humanity. He came down to earth, lived a human life, did miraculous things to show people who he was and how much he loved them. Jesus felt every human emotion that any of us have ever felt. Jesus taught us how to live as people of God. Then he died so that we wouldn't have to be separated from him anymore. You see sin separates us from God because he is holy. We all have sinned therefore we all should be separated from God, but Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be close with him again. No one took Jesus' life, he gave it up for us. I know this because after three days he took his life back again and rose from the dead. Jesus gave up his life because people were sinning so much that they could not afford to pay for it. All of this was done because God loves us and wants to be close with us. God wants us to be his children and not just his creations. When Jesus left he sent his spirit to live within all of those who chose to believe on him and that spirit guides us. It tells us what God wants us to know about him and about his purpose for our lives. God has always had great plans for our lives, but all of us have somehow made choices that sent us in other directions. Some of us it has sent to hell, which is eternal separation from God. Some of us are living hell right now, a life completely separated from God. This is not how we were intended to live. God does not intend for anyone to live a hellish life and then die and spend eternity separated from him in hell, separated from his love and compassion. I have a dream that some day people will realize how much God loves them and stop living in hell. Jesus is coming back for all of his people and he is going to take us into heaven. Why choose hell; why choose to be alone? Many of us have tried just about everything in this life. What could you possibly lose by trying Jesus? Come everyone taste and see that the Lord he is good. All you have to do is talk to God and tell him that you know that Jesus is the son of God and that he died for your sins and rose up again; tell God that you want to accept the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ and that you want to be a part of God's family. Come just as you are. God knows everything about you anyway. He created you and he knows the wonderful things that he has planned for your future. Give him a chance. Don't let the dream die. God loves you too much for you to keep on living without him.
