This is my Father's World

I love the song This is My Father's World.  It reminds me that this temporary home is still under the jurisdiction of God almighty, and it must follow the rules that God has set for it.  That means that every promise that God made to his baby girls and boys has to come true no matter what this world tries to do.  God's will for this world can not be stopped because this world is subject to him.  That also means that this world better also watch how they treat us.  As the children of the master of everything it would not be in the best interest of anyone to try to harm or hinder us because we are members of the royal family.  We have authority and power because our daddy is the King. This world has to submit to us and the royal decrees that God has set in place for us.  People may not like us, but there is nothing they can do to change our status or God's.  There can be no overthrowing of the government because God is unstoppable, and that means that we are guaranteed victory unless be abdicate our positions.  I don't know about you, but I would rather live as royalty and have people despise me than to make friends with the enemies of God. This world was created by God for his people so there are many things for us to enjoy here, but we can not afford to forget that we are royalty. We have rules and privileges that need to be recognized.  We are not common.  We are suppose to wear this world as a loose garment and not as a tattoo.  The issue with the world is that they don't realize that they are under God's rules and they attempt to make up their own and impose them on us.  If we wear this world as a loose garment then we are not bound by the world's rules because we can take them off, but if we permanently mark ourselves with this world then we submit to their rule and deny the rule of God. Not only is it unwise to be willfully ignorant of the true authority in your life, but it is dangerous because you are constantly moving in directions that will place you under spiritual arrest if not physical arrest.  Whether we recognize the rule of God or not  he is the ruler, and his rules are ingrained in the earth.  God gave us choice, but he didn't do that with anything else in the world.  The earth, the plants, the water, the animals all must obey him.  In our disobedience the world responds as it has been instructed.  Some people call it Karma I call it the rules of Life.  Thank God for his grace that the worst doesn't always happen to us.  In summation when we attempt to ignore God for this world, the world itself retaliates, but when we take our position as the royal children of the King of Kings then the world must make way for us.  When I realize that no matter what people say or do that I am royalty and my father is the King I don't get as worried because I know that God will make room for me as I need it.  After all the cattle on a thousand hills is his; he can do for me whatever he wants  I am so glad that this is my father's world.

So I find that there are certain things that when done make for a much better day than when I don't do them.  As a single mom sometimes it gets hard to do these and then everything seems to be a bigger ordeal for me. Mr. Sandman Where are you?

I was told that by 6 months old or so my son should be effectively sleeping through the night. Well, Tomorrow is his first birthday and he has already woken up twice...make that three times because he woke up while I was writing this! I really miss sleeping and I want my little one to get sleep too. He wakes up every two or three hours to nurse. I try to get him to go back to sleep, but a baby who is standing up and pulling on the side of his crib isn't going back to sleep easily. I sing, swing, shush , and attempt to swaddle, but he won't have any of it. Sometimes I let him cry his way back to sleep, but it only last for about a half hour before he reawakens more determined than before. The screaming wears on my nerves and the lack of sleep is wearing on my days. Some days I think "This is it. This is my life now. I have a dream

I used to dream all the time that I was witnessing to people.  People would ask me questions and I would begin to speak about the goodness of the Lord, and how Jesus was the solution to all of their problems or desires.  I feel anointed to be having those dreams again.  Maybe someone needs these words.  I talk about my journey of faith, but maybe you haven't begun that journey yet so let me tell you about Jesus.  Jesus is the Christ, the savior of the world, the messiah, the only begotten son of God.  Jesus is God in humanity. He came down to earth, lived a human life, did miraculous things to show people who he was and how much he loved them.  Jesus felt every human emotion that any of us have ever felt.
