Speak up for your Life!
I bless the Lord because he speaks to me all the time now. He woke me up with this one today. He let me know that to speak things into my life is critical to the pulling in of my future. God has many opportunities for us, but sometimes they are waiting on us to speak the words. If we are in the will of God and our hearts are right then when we speak God will move on our behalf and all of creation will have to comply. God has shared with me that to speak as though things were is to speak to our futures. It is to recognize that the will of God for our lives is going to happen and that his promises are true. When people ask me when I will finish school or when I am getting married I will say soon, and I will believe it because as soon as God says so it will happen. How do I know that these things will happen? I know that God loves me and he promised me that if I seek him and his will for my life then he would take care of my wants and needs.
I have a tendency to get really quiet when I am concerned or feel an impending doom on a situation. Through both painful and humbling life situations I am learning that silence is not always golden. If we can't find any life to speak into a situation than we should be quiet, but if God has promised us something then it is up to us to remind ourselves of what God said and speak those things out of our hearts and our mouths. Because we were made in the likeness of God our words can speak life to situations if our spirit is right. The trick is to be connected to the source which is God. If we have an abiding relationship with God then when we speak life happens.
Of course nothing can beat the word of God. If you can not bring yourself to speak into your situation allow God's word to speak into it for you. Read the scriptures and speak the applicable verses. Pray for God to send you a word to speak over your situation. God is good like that. He wants us to succeed. God wants us to experience the victory that he has already secured for us in Jesus Christ his son. Today I ask every member or the body of Christ, every Christian, every child of God and joint heir with Christ to speak up for your life. Your words spoken at the right time and with the right attitude and understanding can change your world. May the Lord find pleasure in my words. Amen.
