You can't lose for winning!
Have you ever heard the phrase " you can't win for losing?" It means that every time you think you have a chance to succeed something happens to ruin it. I declare the exact opposite over my life and every person who is on this journey of faith. You can't lose for winning.
Because we serve a savior who has "overcome the world already"(john 16:33) no matter what happens in this life we win. Jesus won on our behalf already. This is what is said about our victory, " Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." 1john 4:4
For whatsoever is born of God, overcome the world: and this is the victory that overcome the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcome the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the son of GOD? - 1 john 5:4-5
Anyone who accepts Jesus as the son of God who sacrificed himself to pay for our sins and then got up again after three days has been signed to the ever winning team of GOD. If the team wins then you win, even if you miss your shots, even if you get injured, even if you have done nothing but get water for your teammates, if the team wins you win. Jesus has secured our victory already, so when you think you're losing remember you are on the winning team. The only way that any believer can lose is to stop believing. This is the equivalent of an athlete turning in his or her Jersey and quitting the game. The only way that any Christian can lose is to quit. Satan and his team knows this and so he does everything he can to embarrass you, discourage you, and make you believe that you are a loser. Don't believe the lies or the tricks. Don't give up. Keep believing, keep praising, keep working out your faith. You are a valued member of God's team. He hand picked you. "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you." John 15:16
Not only do you win because you are on God's team, but he picked you and has given you full benefits of being his star player!!!! You see what I mean? You really can't lose for winning. Every time life tries to ruin you or Satan tries to entice you, God blocks for you. God clears the way for you, and sometimes God lets you take a hit to teach you how to something. Even when you get knocked down it's working out for you because:
all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he also called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:28-31
Journeyman of faith just keep walking because for every difficulty God has given you an new opportunity to shine for him as his chosen vessel, his special draft pick, his secret weapon, his prized warrior, has precious child. You can not lose because you have been destined for overcoming, overwhelming, showstopping, jawdropping, miraculous victory. This life is just us taking our victory tour.
