God of Every Nation

I love how God made people so different. If you believe the Bible, it clearly states that we were created in the image (likeness) of God. That means that every nation was created in his image. God is diverse, and I love that about him. He placed his image on every nation, every culture, every person from the youngest to the oldest. To deny any nation's value is to deny the image of God. We are all his creations created in his image. All of us have gotten far away from who God made us to be, but he has not denied any of us his love.  This is why there is no room for racism, classicism, or any other type of ...isms in the Kingdom of God.
One of the things that I love to do is see how different cultures worship God. Worship is a very personal thing even when groups gather.  Some people are loud and some are quiet, some stand, sit, kneel, or lay. There are many ways to worship God, and the only stipulation that the Bible gives concerning worship to my knowledge is that those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.  I don't judge the worship of other people because I believe God created us to worship differently as well as look differently.
I had the opportunity many years ago to visit a black Catholic church. While I am not Catholic I still found their customs of worship interesting. I have been to Baptist churches, Methodist churches, Apostolic churches, I grew up in the Church of God, and I now attend a non-denomenational church.  I have been to formal and non-formal services and even home services. The one thing that I can say is that just as God is everywhere, so are his people everywhere. They look different from eachother and speak different languages. They eat different food and have different cultures, but one thing is the same. All of God's people show who he is in the world. Be careful how you treat someone you would consider the "other" guy. God is a God of Every nation.  The only line that God draws is that of his son Jesus. If we receive Jesus as our savior God receives us as his children. Every Christian everywhere shows the image of God. The spirit of God shows through all of us when we submit ourselves to him. It is time for God's people to stop seeing black and white and start seeing in color.
