Powerful

 2 Peter 1:2-4

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

We are not helpless and we are not weak.  This scripture declares that God has given us everything that we need to succeed and dominate in this life and in his Kingdom.  Our power is a result of our knowledge of who God is.  When we come to know and accept who God is through the person of Jesus Christ, we become a reckoning force to any evil that might come against us in this life. (see James 4:7)  If you feel weak, spend time in your Bible and prayer to get to know who God is better.  If you feel helpless or hopeless, pick up your Bible and study the teachings of Jesus in the gospels.  We are the adopted sons of God and are sealed forever by his spirit.  He has given us his spirit and his power.  Jesus said greater works would his disciples do them him. (see John 14:12) What about us?

 John 1:11-13
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
